Thanks to theNvidiaGeForce RTX 3070,4Kgaming is now accessible to the masses. You no longer have to sacrifice performance for the higher resolution or break the bank just for the pleasure of playing in UHD. In fact, it’s reminiscent of how the GeForce GTX 970 changed the game back in 2014. All of a sudden, users had access to 1080p gaming with high frame rates and max settings without burning a hole in their wallet. You could play games like Batman: Arkham Knight and Witcher 3, both still considered GPU-intensive to this day, without your PC breaking a sweat.
Today, you see the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 doing the same for the next generation of gaming. There are some differences, though. The GTX 970 was a cheaper proposition when it was released, going for $329 (about £250, AU$460) compared to the RTX 3070’s retail price of $499 (£469, AU$809). But, both made the future of gaming attainable for the average gamer. With that said, the current chip shortage has made finding the RTX 3070 much harder for the time being as it’s almost impossible to find at market value outside of a pre-built PC.
Though the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3070 may not offer the same staggering performance as theGeForce RTX 3080or theRTX 3090, it’s an impressive card in its own right, delivering 4K performance that almost rivals that of theRTX 2080 Tiwithout burning a $1,199 (£1,099, AU$1,899) shaped hole in your pocket. And, that combination of affordable price and high performance makes it the de facto graphics card for most people.

Most retailers are out of stock, as they have been for a long time since launch, but we’ll keep an eye on them and let you know if they get any more.

Nvidia RTX 3070 dealsat AmazonAmazon’s RTX 3070 page is live, but you’ll have a hard time finding anything for a price close to the MSRP of the Founders Edition model.
Nvidia RTX 3070 dealsat Best BuyBest Buy has a range of RTX 3070 models, but they have all now sold out, unfortunately. Hopefully the retailer will get more stock in soon.
Nvidia RTX 3070 dealsat NeweggNewegg regularly has some stock available of this and other RTX 30-Series graphics cards, but you’ll generally have to pay a premium to get them. You might keep an eye on the Newegg Shuffle, though, where you can get a better deal.

Where to buy RTX 3070 in the UK
The Nvidia RTX 3070 went on sale on October 29 at 1PM GMT in the UK, and again did not last long, with most stock selling out very fast.
Nvidia RTX 3070 dealsat NvidiaNvidia was selling its Founders Edition RTX 3070 for £469, but sadly it has now sold out. The site will let you check the stock of RTX 3070 GPUs from third party manufacturers, but odds of finding them are low.
Nvidia RTX 3070 stockat BoxBox is an online retailer and it looks like it has a number of different RTX 3070 models, but these either are sold out or will cost you a premium. However, more stock is ‘coming soon’ and you can request a stock alert so you don’t miss out.
Nvidia RTX 3070 stockat OverclockersOverclockers UK is a great site for buying components, but most of the stock will cost you double the MSRP. We suggest waiting until unit are available at retail price.
Nvidia RTX 3070 stockat EbuyerEbuyer UK has these GPUs in stock but it’s selling them at a premium. But, as the price situation changes, it’ll be worth checking back every now and then.
Nvidia RTX 3070 stockat ScanScan is mostly sold out of RTX 3070 GPUs, but you might be able to nab one of the available units if you act quick. Unfortunately, there aren’t a bunch of options.
