Before you dive intoSony’s flagship racing title, you may want to have a look at the full Gran Turismo 7 car list. Developer Polyphony Digital has pulled out all the stops, stuffing the game with more than 400 cars at launch.
Sony and Polyphony have said that there are even more cars coming in post-launch updates, too, so expect this list to expand to include every car inGran Turismo 7after those DLCs are released.
There are multiple ways to collect cars in GT7, including spending the credits you earn in races at the game’s three different car dealerships. Brand Central, Used Car Dealer, and Legendary Car Dealer all sell different classes and values of cars. So, you’re unlikely to find a Bugatti at the Used Car Dealer, but a Honda Civic may be on the cards.
Wherever you buy your car, Polyphony Digital; is keen to share the history of the vehicles you’re buying. Each dealer has a museum for different manufacturers and it’s there you can learn the stories of the different companies who made the cars you’re racing.
A neat touch to the Used Car dealership is that some vehicles will actually cost more than they did when they were originally sold. That’s because, as trends change, certain lines of car come into fashion and become more popular, such as the boom in Japanese sports cars. Check back at the Used Car Dealer often, though, as the line-up will be updated and changed every day.
Brand Central will sell cars from 2001 or later, with roughly 300 car models available in total. Finally, we have the crème de la crème of car dealerships. The Legendary Car Dealer specializes in historically significant, iconic cars - meaning it’s obviously more expensive than the other two dealers.
So what are the cars we can expect to take for a spin? Well, thanks to keen-eyedGTPlanetfans, we have a pretty good idea of the Gran Turismo 7 cars on offer at launch.

Julian’s been writing about video games for more than a decade. In that time, he’s always been drawn to the strange intersections between gaming and the real world, like when he interviewed a NASA scientist who had become a Space Pope in EVE Online, or when he traveled to Ukraine to interview game developers involved in the 2014 revolution, or that time he tore his trousers while playing Just Dance with a developer.
